Airport Entrance Road To Be Repaved this Month

Thursday, September 02, 2010

IMPORTANT NOTICE

ROADWAY PAVING

The time has come that we need to repair the Aviation Blvd. entrance road. The re-paving of the roadway will be as follows:

Tuesday - September 7
The INBOUND side of the Aviation Blvd. will be closed from Derita Road to the Terminal Parking Lot.

Wednesday - September 8
The OUTBOUND side of Aviation Blvd. will be closed from Derita Road to the Terminal Parking Lot.

Thursday - September 9
The Zephyr Place Road will be closed to repair damaged areas. This will only impact vehicles going through Gate #7 to the South Development Area.

The paving contractor will be working 10 plus hours per day. It would be advisable to add some time for your trip to the airport to deal with the traffic congestion due to this re-paving. Additionally, paving is contingent upon the weather, so adjustment to the schedule is possible.

Concord Regional Airport announces participation in Phillips 66 Aviation's Wingpoints Program

Thursday, September 02, 2010

On September 1st, the Concord Regional Airport's Phillips 66 Aviation branded Fixed Base Operation (FBO) began participating in the new Phillips 66 Aviation WingPoints reward program.

WingPoints is a reward card based program that gives points based on fuel purchases at the FBO.  Initially 10 points are awarded for each gallon purchased.  However, Phillips 66 Aviation has a special offer where if a customer pays with a Phillips 66 Aviation Credit Card, that customer will receive double points or 20 points per gallon purchased.

Rewards begin at only 20,000 points which equals a $25 gift card level. At 60,000 points the reward level is $100.  Another benefit of this program is that customers can donate their reward points to several different aviation charity programs like angel flight which transports cancer patients and their family member for treatments out of state for free.

As a rewards program, Phillips 66 is one of the more generous. It does not take long for a jet aircraft customer for example to quickly accumulate points and reach a reward level.

Detailed information on the program including specific rewards and how to register for a rewards card can be found on a dedicated website www.wingpoints.com
