Concord Regional Airport

Located about 15 minutes northeast of Charlotte's central business district, the City of Concord Regional Airport is more than just the best way in and out of Charlotte. Our airport’s proximity to I-85 puts it in the heart of the highest growth corridor in North Carolina and offers convenient access to Charlotte Motor Speedway, the new Z-max Dragway, Concord Mills Mall, premier golf courses, local business parks, and restaurants. Open “24 / 7”, we offer a secure ramp area and control tower as well as on site fire and rescue personnel. Come experience our “Southern Hospitality” and our “award winning customer service” for yourself. We think you will agree Concord Regional Airport is the only choice when flying into the Charlotte/Concord area.

Concord Regional Airport is owned and operated by the City of Concord and is a member of the North Carolina Airports Association. The tower is contracted and belongs to the United States Contract Tower Association.

CITY OF CONCORD REGIONAL AIRPORT
7,400 FEET RUNWAY

Concord Regional Airport has a 7,400 feet runway which improves safety and allows pilots to take off and land with greater fuel and passenger capacities. In many cases having this runway length eliminates the need for refueling for cross country flights.

As the home of Charlotte Motor Speedway and a linked, city owned championship golf course (designed by the celebrated Dan Maples), Concord continues to lure clientele of business and industry leaders both for work and play. Small wonder that Concord is no longer a "best -kept secret."
